Leather is not only leather. It must be PERFECT 🔥
The appearance of leather is the main factor in purchasing leather articles. 👜
To analyze leather grades it is important to differentiate all types of color facets, homogeneity or differentiation between sanded, buffered or full grain leather.
The solino Imaging Modules process 64 images in that way that it is possible to automatically identify all types of anomalies to the standard.
If you compare the marked defects on the different processed data you see that they occur in one image but not in the other.
This is the main issue with standard image processing tools.
This variety of images are perfect for further labeling as you have not only one chance to identify the anomaly on the same surface.

Opto with a new location

Opto is expanding and moving into new offices.
We move from Gräfelfing/Lochham to the neighbouring town of Neuried, about 4 km away.
The rooms for assembly are adapted to the growth of our imaging modules.
The office space for development, sales and marketing as well as accounting, etc. will also be doubled.
From 18 March, we will therefore be located at the new address: Floriansbogen 2/4, 82061 Neuried.

On 01 October 2023, we established our new sales office in Singapore and our long-time employee Tan Khiang is now the director responsible for the territories within 'Asia and Oceania'. In addition to looking after our distribution partners and key accounts, our core business of imaging modules (an intelligent combination of camera, lighting and optics), is to be strategically expanded.

The new M2 milling center and CLX350 turning center are welcome to speed up the production of our Opto GmbH Imaging Modules.
Our own machine shop allows us to produce own parts for production, prototyping and being more independent from changes in global supply chains.
Good job from DMG MORI. They look like imported directly from StarTrek ;-)

I had a good week in our office in France. Our newest Software developments are on the way.
Stay tuned a lot to come. We automate Microscopy.
I even had some minutes to enjoy the autumn sun. Seems they brought this chair only for me ;-)
Afterl ITAP in Singapore and microTAS in Poland next show is on the way.
Sinopharm will represent Opto GmbH.
