Dr. Daniel Kraus becomes second managing director

Since January 1, 2026, Dr. Daniel Kraus has been strengthening the management team at Opto GmbH. Together with founder, owner, and managing director Markus Riedi, he is leading the company into the next phase of its development.

The appointment of Dr. Kraus is an important step in the planned generational change. It ensures that the knowledge built up over many years is preserved, while at the same time incorporating new ideas, perspectives, and technological approaches into Opto's strategic orientation.
